Terms and Conditions
General
To secure your wedding booking, a non-refundable deposit of 20% of the full price is required. A further 50% of the remaining balance must be paid four weeks before your wedding date, with the remaining balance due one week prior to your wedding.
For special occasion bookings a £20 non-refundable deposit is required to confirm your appointment. the remaining balance must be paid two days before your booking.
If you require a trial for a special occasion, an additional £30 trial fee must be paid two days before your trial appointment.
Payments must be made by the agreed payment method. failure to make payments by the stated deadlines may result in your booking being cancelled.
Booking process
The booking fee is required to secure your appointment and reserve your chosen date. If payment of booking fee is not received within four days of the invoice being issued, your booking will be automatically cancelled, and the date may be offered to another client.
Once your booking fee has been received, you will receive a confirmation email and payment receipt from Libby Brown confirming that your booking has been successfully secured.
Trials
A trial is highly recommended and will usually take place 6-12 weeks before your wedding date.
During your trial, we will discuss your desired hairstyle, wedding theme, accessories, and any changes you would like to make before your wedding day.
Please attend your trial with clean, dry hair unless advised otherwise and bring any inspiration photos, hair accessories, and your veil (if available).
All trial appointments will take place at my home studio in Southmoor, Abingdon, between 10 am - 3 pm.
If you would prefer me to travel to your location, this can be arranged at an additional charge of 55p per mile.
If you are unable to attend your trail appointment in person, I also offer one to one zoom consultations. Please mention your preference for a zoom consultation when submitting your enquiry.
Client responsibilities
Prior to your trial or appointment, you must inform Libby Brown of any allergys, product sensitivities, medical conditions, or other relevant health concerns that you or any member of your bridal party may have. This information is required to ensure that all products and equipment used during the service are suitable and safe.
Failure to disclose relevant medical information may affect the service provided, and Libby Brown cannot accept responsibility for any adverse reactions where this information has not been disclosed in advanced.
Rights to refuse service
Libby Brown reserves the right to refuse or discontinue services at any time if a client or any member of the party behaves in a threatening, abusive, aggressive, or otherwise inappropriate manner towards Libby Brown or any other person present.
In these circumstances, the appointment will be cancelled immediately, and all payments made up to that point will be retained. No refunds will be issued.
Cancelltions
Wedding bookings:
The 20% booking fee is non refundable.
If you cancel:
More than 8 weeks before your wedding date, no further payment will be required.
Between 4-8 weeks before your wedding date any payments already made are non refundable, plus an additional 20% cancelation fee.
Less than 4 weeks before your wedding date, the full balance remains payable.
Special occasions (non-bridal):
The 20% booking fee is non refundable.
Appointments cancelled within 48 hours of the booking remain fully chargeable.
Rescheduling
If you need to reschedule your booking, please provide as much notice as possible.
Rescheduling bookings are subject to availability and cannot be guaranteed. Booking fees are transferable only when sufficient notice has been given and a suitable alternative date is available.
Wedding day timings
A schedule will be agreed before your wedding day. It is the clients responsibility to ensure everyone receiving styling is present and ready at their allocated time.
Delays caused by members of the bridal party may affect the remaining schedule. while every effort will be made to accommodate delays, Libby Brown cannot accept responsibility if timings overrun due to circumstances outside of her control.
Travel
Travel within the agreed distance is included where stated.
Additional charges may apply for venues outside the standard service area.
Parking charges, congestion charges, toll fees and accommodation (where required for early starts or long distance travel) will be discussed and agreed before your booking confirmation.
Force majeure
In the unlikely event that Libby Brown is unable to fulfil a booking due to circumstances beyond reasonable control, including serious illness, accident, sever weather, or other unforeseen emergencies, every reasonable effort will be made to arrange a suitable replacement stylist where possible.
If this not possible, all monies paid (excluding any services already provided, such as trials.) will be refunded fully. Libby Brown cannot be held liable for any additional costs or losses incurred as a result of such circumstances.

by paying the booking fee, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms & Conditions.
